Mini Mic Moment: Fall Break

Laney: So my name is Laney Morris, and I'm going to be interviewing people about their fall break. So, yeah. We're here with Katelyn Parrilli. What grade are you in?

Katelyn: Sixth.

Laney: How was your fall break?

Katelyn: It was really good.

Laney: What'd you do?

Katelyn: I went to Utah.

Laney: What'd you do in Utah?

Katelyn: I went biking and hiking.

Laney: That's really fun. Thank you for your time.

Katelyn: Thank you for giving me your time.

Laney: okay, now we're here with Sarina, last name Soni. What grade are you in?

Sarina: Sixth grade.

Laney: What'd you do over fall break?

Sarina: I went to Wisconsin.

Laney: Why?

Sarina: To watch the Badgers and Packers game!! Go, Pack, go!!

Laney: Okay. Did you have a good time?

Sarina: Yeah.

Laney: okay. Thanks for your time.

Sarina: Thank you.

Laney: Do you have any words, any last words to say?

Sarina: Roar.

Laney: Okay, bye.

Laney: What's your name?

Calder: Calder

Laney: What grade are you in?

Calder: I'm in sixth grade.

Laney: What's your last name?

Calder: Groves

Laney: I see. Stop saying LeBron. How was your fall break?

Calder: Awesome.

Laney: What'd you do?

Calder: I went to Watercolor.

Laney: Um, what was your favorite part about going there?

Calder: Um, I really liked Camp Watercolor.

Laney: That's cool. Thank you for your time.

Calder: Thank you.

Laney: Now we're here with Jay, last name Weaver. What grade are you in?

Jay: Sixth

Laney: How was your fall break?

Jay: It was good.

Laney: What did you do?

Jay: I played five rounds of golf at Lake Oconee.

Laney: What's your name?

Lucy: I'm Lucy Cook.

Laney: What grade are you in?

Lucy: I'm seventh grade.

Laney: How was your fall break?

Lucy: Um, it was good.

Laney: What'd you do?

Lucy: I got tan and I went to the beach.

Laney: What beach?

Lucy: Amelia Island.

Laney: Okay, that's cool.

Lucy: Yep.

Laney: Bye!

Ashton: Ashton Shanks.

Laney: What grade are you in?

Ashton: Seventh

Laney: How was your fall break?

Ashton: Good.

Laney: What'd you do?

Ashton: I went to New York. I got to see a show.

Ashton: Yeah.

Laney: Hi. Now I'm here with Brittany Morris. What grade are you in?

Brittany: Seventh.

Laney: What'd you do for break?

Brittany: I went to Dollywood with my sister.

Laney: Did you have fun?

Brittany: Yes.

Laney: okay, thank you for your time.

Laney: What's your name?

Carter: Carter Ingram.

Laney: How was your break?

Carter: Good I guess.

Laney: What'd you do?

Carter: I played golf and kind of just stayed at home.

Laney: OK, We're here now with Sarah Claire. What grade are you in and what did you do for fall break?

Sarah Claire: I went to Los Angeles, and I went sailing, and I did a lot of shopping, and I got to hang out with one of my friends and my uncle.

Laney: Did you have a good time?

Sarah Claire: I did.

Laney: okay. Thanks.

Sarah Claire: You're welcome.

Laney: Bye!

Sarah Claire: Bye!

Laney: I'm here now with Olivia Hirsch and Scarlet Bodner. What grade are y'all in?

Olivia and Scarlet: Eighth.

Laney: What did you do for fall break?

Olivia: I went to Deer Valley, Utah, and I, like, hiked, e bikes, shopped.

Laney: What did you do?

Scarlet: I had a SPA-cation, which is, like, I got, like, a facial, I got a massage, and I got my nails done, and they're really, really cute. And I got to see one of my friends I haven't seen in a while. It was really fun.

Laney: That's cool.

Scarlet: I know!

Laney: Okay, thanks.

Scarlet: Of course. Love you. Laney!

Laney: Okay. I'm here with Biddy Mautner What grade are you in?

Biddy: Eighth.

Laney: What did you do for fall break?

Biddy: I went to New Orleans.
