This morning at midnight, October 3, 2025,  the brand new album by Taylor Swift called “The Life of a Showgirl” was posted and people went haywire. The amount of people that woke up at midnight for this album is impossible to know the exact number however there were crowds at retailers, digital streams, global online conversation, media coverage, and much more. After one day on sale, The Life of a Showgirl is the top-selling album of 2025 in the U.S., surpassing the 520,000 sold of The Weeknd's 

Hurry Up Tomorrow, through the week ending Sept. 25. The Life of a Showgirl is fun, as you would expect, containing a compelling and diverse array of tracks, and is a clear step-up relief from the dour Poets. By now, this album has made a lot of money and I would say that it is very successful.
